The V5 is the first smartphone in Realme's new V series and the company shared some images of the smartphone that revealed its design. The V5 will pack a punch hole display and feature an L-shaped quad camera on the back which is a first for the Chinese phone maker.
The announcement post will arrive on 27 July 2020. the Realme V5 is accompanied by a teaser image of the smartphone. This image shows that the phone has a quad-camera at the rear with an LED flash. The quad-camera module has a ‘48MP AI camera’ branding, suggesting that the main camera in this setup is a 48MP sensor. The bottom portion of the image has 5G written on it, confirming that the Realme V5 comes with 5G connectivity. The post on Weibo, according to the social media website, was made from ‘V5 Flash Charge,’ hinting that the phone has Flash Charge fast charging.
The image also shows that the phone has a display with a punch-hole mounted to the top-left corner of the screen. The right-hand side of the device seems to have recessed cutout, suggesting that it could be a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Although we aren’t sure about it. The volume buttons and SIM card tray are located on the left-hand side of the device. The Realme V5 shown in the image has a silver color scheme, confirming that it will be one of the color options on offer. The Realme V5 will be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz and will weigh 194 grams. The smartphone will be 9.1mm thick and have a total of five cameras onboard - a 16MP selfie shooter on the front with the 48MP primary camera on the back joined by one 8MP and two 2MP units.
