Oppo A3S September 2019 Security patch: CPH1803EX_11_A.20
The new software update is based on Android 8.1 Oreo with Oppo’s native ColorOS 5. It will improve the performance and stability of the device.
The software support section of Oppo is quite efficient as well. Oppo devices make use of native Android skin ColorOS based on Android OS. The OEM has always dropped regular software updates for all of its devices. Even a year old device receives software for maintenance. One such device is the budget-friendly Oppo A3s. Currently, the Oppo A3s is receiving the September 2019 security patch update with build number CPH1803EX_11_A.20.
OTA drops gradually into devices. So, you may not get it at the first instance it rolls from the OEM. Still, you can download the OTA manually by going to device Settings > Software Update. Then tap on Check for Updates. If you see the new update download it using Wi-Fi.
Again, not everyone may be successful in capturing the OTA manually for their Oppo A3s. So, an alternative way is to flash the stock firmware on your own. We have put up the firmware link below. If you want an instant upgrade and don’t want to wait for OTA, then you can download the latest stock firmware for Oppo A3s. Then to install the same firmware, you can follow our tutorial on Flashing a Firmware on Oppo A3s.
Always keep in mind that those devices which do not receive a security update every month have a vulnerability to security issues. Oppo A3 received its previous update in May 2019. So, we recommend that you should not miss out on security patches. For a secure and efficient running of your smartphone, you must install the software as and when it’s available. So, download CPH1803EX_11_A.20 September 2019 security update for the Oppo A3s and install it.
