Tutorial-1: Why Do I Need to Bind Apple ID Using 3uTools?

1.Why do I need to bind Apple ID using 3uTools?
After binding your Apple ID, 3uTools can help you purchase the free authorized apps from iOS App Store using this ID, and you can also make in-app purchases and login to Game Center.

2.Is it safe to bind Apple ID using 3uTools?
Yes, it is. Your Apple ID and password will be encrypted and only stored on the local, and won't be uploaded to 3uTools server. 3uTools will never collect users' private information.

Solutions：
1. Register Apple ID

2.Bind Apple ID
a.) After the iDevice is connected to the computer, please click“Apps”→click “Bind” on the left side. Then enter your Apple ID account and password, then click “Bind”.

b.) 3uTools will automatically download dependency files, please wait till this process is finished.

c.) After it's downloaded, 3uTools begins to verify Apple ID and password. Afte the verification succeeds, 3uTools will show "Succeeded to bind Apple ID".

3.Unbind Apple ID
Click “Apps”→click “Bind” on the left side. Then click "Unbind".

Operations:

Solutions:

1. Check the connection between iDevice and Computer/Laptop

2. Check if iTunes has been installed on the computer

Click “Control Panel”→"Programs and Features”. Then check if iTunes and Apple Mobile Device Support have been installed on the computer. If not, please restart 3uTools, then reinstall iTunes via 3uTools.

3. If the above methods can't solve the connection issue, please try them on another computer.

Tutorial 4: 3uTools Frequently Prompts “Connection Timeout”?

Even though replug iDevice to PC repeatedly, 3uTools still fails in connecting iDevice with error "Connection Timeout". Please keep reading to figure out how to fix it.

Solutions:

1. Please check if your USB cable has following problems:

Solution: To fix this, you can replug your device and then tap "Trust" on your device.

If you enable USB Accessories in iOS 11.4.1 or later, your device should have this pop-up since your iPhone was locked over one hour. And it probably one of the reasons caused you failed to connect your device with 3uTools.

Solution: Just unlock your iPhone and tap "Trust". The toggle next to USB Accessories is off by default.

You could turn off the feature through Settings-- select Face ID & Passcode (or Touch ID & Passcode if not using an iPhone X). Then, scroll down to the Allow Access When Locked section.

Part 1 Back up :
Which data you are not able to back up?
3uTools can help you backup almost all data, but here is a list of content that you can not back up.
1. Contents in the iTunes Store & App Store (including all the Apps), and the PDF downloaded to your iBooks (you can choose to back up these contents in your iTunes)
2. Data you synced from iTunes, such as MP3, CD, video, books & photos.

Back up Operations

Step 1 Connect the iDevice to the PC, follow “Toolbox-Backup/Restore-Backup iDevice” button, and click the "Backup";

Step 2 Wait for Backup Complete

The more data need to be backed up, the more time will be needed (sometimes it may cost hours), please wait patiently for the backup complete;

Part 2 Restore:

2. if you have set a password, the restore can not be proceeded without the password;

3. When you restore the data, the backup data size can not exceed the iDevice storage space;

Restore Operations
Step 1 Connect the iDevice to the PC, then click the“Toolbox-Backup/Restore-Restore iDevice” button, and click the "Restore"

A. Download and install the latest 3uTools on your PC. The first time you run 3uTools, it will show you a reminder that Install iTunes or Apple Driver to connect iDevice. Click Install iTunes.

B. Launch 3uTools -> click Flash & JB -> Other Tools -> click Install.

Tutorial-6: How to register an Apple ID?

Binding Apple ID on your iPhone can help you attain a better iPhone experience to explore its powerful features. So how to register an Apple ID account? This tutorial is mainly introducing how to apply for an Apple ID account on PC.

Step 1: Open Apple's official account managing page on your PC, then click the button “Create your Apple ID” as shown in the following figure.

Step 2: You need to enter a lot of personal information while applying for an Apple ID account. For instance, you need to enter your name, email account and password firstly. You may enter an incorrect name, but the email account must be valid. We suggest you to set your frequently-used email as the Apple ID account.

Next, you need to set a secure password for your Apple ID account. Apple implements a set of strict rules in password settings, so you need to set it according to Apple's requirements.

The password you create must have more than 8 characters and contain uppercase letters, lowercase letters and numbers.

Step 3: Then you need to set your security questions for your Apple ID account. If you forget your password, you can use your security questions to reset the password . It's suggested to write your security questions down on the paper so as not to forget them.

Step 4: After the security questions are set, you need to choose some regions and other relational subscription information; or you can retain the default settings.
